Shannon started her skating journey at the age of 7 in Southern California. After finishing up her competitive career, she began teaching in Palos Verdes and eventually moved to Sherwood, Oregon. Her mission as a coach is to teach athletes the importance of integrity, never settling for less, and being true to oneself.

As a former Skating Director, Shannon has always emphasized giving back to the community and instilling a love for the sport in young athletes. She enjoys working with skaters at the grassroots level and starting them on a journey of continuous learning. Shannon is the leader of our Next Generation group and guides these athletes from Learn to Skate USA into our competitive program. By focusing on basic technique and instilling the right fundamentals, Shannon lays the foundation upon which our future competitors will succeed.
